Lightroom/Camera Raw: Extend canvas so content doesn't clip on rotating

Even when rotating slightly, a lot of content of the former edges gets clipped - often resulting in a too tight framing. Extending the canvas requires a trip to PS, breaking the lossless raw workflow and getting a much larger tiff instead of the original raw dng. Please add the option to extend the canvas in ACR so the added outer whitespace parts can get clone/heal-filled (no problem with grass or sky texture or the like).

This would be very useful.  I did try to fool around by using transform scale <100%, but the edges seem to override the clone tool, so that did not work out.

Exactly, I tried this as well but the whitespace after perspective correction is immutable and you cannot clone/heal into it. All a symptom of the same missing feature, i.e. LR never extending the original canvas. But at least with recent pano stitching 'boundary warp' LR can stretch the canvas, so probably Adobe might be getting aware that white borders aren't beautiful :-)
