When trying to remove a tag (Stichwort) from mulitple selected images, LR removes the tag from ONE image only. This worked in previous ersions, the option is offered by LR.
Adding a tag stll works flawlessly on multiple images.

Are you in Loupe view, with multiple pics selected in the filmstrip? When you're in Loupe view, changes to metadata only apply to the current target photo (the most-selected photo). You can override that by turning on auto-sync:

But a lot of people find that error-prone.

Thank you!

The bug occurs in loupe mode, all works in grid mode. LR is allowing the selection, but not de-selection of tags in loupe mode - pretty confusing. LR shows the option - translated from German - "de-select this tag from selected images". So I consider this as a bug, not a feature.

I'll use the grid mode for this kind of work. Very error prone when I tag hundreds of files ad always have to remember to switch ...

This behavior has been in LR from the beginning. The idea behind it is that when you're in Loupe, you won't necessarily see or remember that you have other photos selected, so any changes affect only the visible photo (unless auto-sync is on). Over the years, I've seen a number of people both in favor and opposed to the current behavior. I'd guess that it's unlikely to change, but that's just my own guess.
