Hi Adobe,

please fix a bug of displaying a "server is busy" system window at LR startup, even when it is run as administrator. It happens, when harddrives are turned off after "x minutes" in Advanced Power options in Windows. The message is displaying, until all classic harddrives are spinning again, then you must hit "Retry" and it disappears. The LR is run from SSD drive, but computer contains also 6 classic harddrives. I hope, you can easily reproduce a bug, if not, please contact me. It is really annoying to see this window at each startup. Photoshop or Bridge is not displaying this message, so I suppose it is strictly bug of LR. It is not problem of the last release, it happens for years...

Jeffrey, I think I can confirm the suspicion that this message is related to spinning hard drives which are in sleep mode. It affects recent versions of LR, the new LRCC, and did affect DW2015 (but not DW2018). It's been a long running irritation and I've been in direct contact with engineers, but this is the closest I've felt to explaining it.

Hi Jeffrey, thank you, but the event viewer doesn't say anything - no record for given time of displaying window "server is busy". It is probably related to some library/function of C++ you are using in LR, but not in Photoshop or Bridge, and it happens only during startup. Because if harddrives went to sleep mode again during using LR, window will not appear again anytime later...

Please assign me a technician, I would like to resolve this thing using some debug tools you will provide. Thank you.
