LR CC’s Auto add: When album has been selected and I f you enter another folder and start shooting, photos are added to the most recent folder. Not the selected folder. For example, stop to edit images in another folder, new photos now go there, not the enzbled folder. iOS

Yep, I've been able to duplicate what you are seeing. I will log a bug on it.

It depends which camera app you use to take the pictures, as there's a definite difference in behaviour. The Auto Add process, as stated in that message box shown above, only auto-adds any new images which are added to the Camera Roll, thus it should work correctly for any pictures taken with the iPhone's native camera app (if it's not, that would be a definite bug).

Lightroom's own camera app, however, does not add the pictures to the Camera Roll, instead they are only added into the LRCC mobile app's own storage space (and the cloud). Within the LRCC mobile app, therefore, the Auto Add function cannot work and so the images are added to the currently selected Album (or All Photos if no Album is selected).

Rikk, I remarked on this behaviour over a year ago, and was told it was "as designed". I don't like it, but I've learned to deal with it.

If it is as designed, it is not as expected.  A bug will force them to reevaluate.

Agreed, Rikk. Here's hoping that they do reevaluate.

I was told as designed too, but it still bugs me. Go for it Rikk!
