LR CC Adjustment Brush Presets Don't Save

In LR CC 2015.1 on Yosemite the adjustment brush presets don't save; that is; after quitting LR, and then opening again, the presets go back to their default settings, even though I've Updated and edited preset.

For example, the default settings for the Burn (Darken) preset is now -0.30 as where it used to be -1.00 in earlier versions of LR. I have changed the value from -0.30 to -1.00 and then selected "Update Preset 'Burn (Darken)'" on numerous occasions, only to come back to LR and find that the setting is back at -0.30. The same behavior exists for the Dodge (Lighten) preset, though its new default is 0.25.

I understand Adobe may be partial to their preset settings, but how about making the Update Preset command work on them also?

I believe that the setting that displays is the last used value...it doesn't reset to a default each time you open the brush

Not each time I open the brush, but each time I open Lightroom and open a brush (I don't leave LR running and I shut down my computer each night).

Burn (Darken) has always been -0.30 Exposure Value
Dodge (Lighten) has always been +0.25 Exposure Value
to the best of my recollection.

Default Presets (those that load with Lightroom) appear to have fixed values. Custom made presets appear to function as you expect. As a work around, I would create custom presets with the values you desire and use those instead. As an example. In addition to Burn, I have a (-1.0), a (-2.0) , and a (-3.0) Exposure value preset.

I will confirm the lack of saveablity of Default Presets and report back.

It appears that I was wrong (and you are right) about the default values in earlier versions. I went back and looked at LR 5.7 and the values are -1.0 and 1.0 for Burn and Dodge. I must have Updated the Default Presets with my values, and they stayed the same with each use of LR.

In the past, my updates to the presets evidently were saved since I started using LR (version 2 or 3) and I forgot that the original defaults were -0.30 and +0.25. I only noticed this behavior with LR CC and thought it was a bug.

Yes, I know I could create my own presets; I just like to have as few as possible (believe it or not).

This new "feature" of reverting to the default settings needs to be removed so we can save our custom values again without an excessively long list of unused presets.

I thought this bug was fixed with Lightroom Classic CC just being released and to my dismay, it's not. There is too much visual clutter on my brush preset list to be forced to have my own and Adobe's defaults. There has to be more frustration out there, but not enough people speaking out about it...
