Lightroom CC: Improve keyword navigation/scrolling

I have well over 3,000 keywords in Classic and even with only the "enter" keywords showing up in LR/CC we're still talking about several thousand keywords.  When I use the Keyword pull down (see screen shot attached), the list is well over a thousand entries and scrolling through the list takes forever.  On my fast desktop machine, putting the mouse over the down arrow at the bottom of the list it took 3 minutes to get to the bottom of the list.  this is not useful at all.

Obviously we REALLY need hierarchical keywords, but even with flat keywords we need a better way to get to the one(s) we want.  Here are some ideas:

1)  I scroll bar on the list that we can quickly drag up and down

2)   Perhaps a vertcial alphabet along the right edge of the list where you clck, say "T" and it positions the list to the first keyword starting with the letter "T"

3)  if the cursor is positioned over the keyword list, allow the user to start typing and as they do the list positions to the keywords starting with the letters typed

Thanks -- Dan

PS: Don't for a minute believe that Sensei content searching will EVER replace robust keywording.  It will be a good enhancement feature and perhaps quite useful to lower level users or for more casual searching but cannot be perceived as replacing keywords.

Oh yes, great request, that's been bugging me too. Even an A>, B> nesting like Classic's Quick Develop pop-up would be better than the current looooooooong list.

Or perhaps a small search box at the top of the list?
