Just updated my LR CC2015 a few days ago. Now when I shoot tethered to myMacbook Pro,my LR on screen shutter button will not move to the top of the screen. The button control can move around the screen freely, but won't go any higher then what is pictured. Never had that problem before. That's very annoying, since it blocks my view of controls and or the image I am working on. Any help in this regard would be appreciated. Attached picture.

Ed,
Thanks for pointing this out. We are able to reproduce this issue and are investigating.
I hope you are able to move the toolbar down to a region that don't block the view. Right now, it seems the only possible workaround.

Thanks,
Sunil

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled lightroom cc2015.4 mac - tethering bar location problem.

When using imac 27" 5k and MBPr 15 (2014) - when using the latest cc 2015.4. tethering to any camera, the tethering capture horizontal bar used to be able to move to the very top of LR and out of the LR screen, so not in the way of the area where you view the incoming image.  Now the tethering capture bar is restricted to below the top LR menu bar. Although you can move the capture downwards even off the LR screen but not upwards. The previous version you could move the capture bar anywhere.  Please adobe reinstate this capture bar movement. PS idea would be great if you could a) turn the capture bar vertical, or reshape it?  Someone said the above is only a mac issue as he has no problems with windows.

AFAIK this should be fixed in the 2015.5 / 6.5 update released today.

I didn't notice the problem until today, and I did update today. On my MBP Retina I can't move the tether bar *anywhere* at all -- it's stuck in the middle of the screen, whether I open LR CC on my external monitor or just on my laptop screen. :-(

I'm not at home now but I updated yesterday afternoon. My CC app showed that LR is "up to date."  Just checked my (1 yr older) MBP at the office and it's also showing Up To Date, but not showing a version number - just Lightroom CC 2015.4 Release Camera Raw 9.4. (The CC app shows "up to date" for it also.)  The tether bar moves on this computer, although not to the very top of the screen. (I normally put it at the top where the menu bar is located.) But I can move it to the bottom of the screen on this laptop, so it's usable.

I have updated to 2015.5, on my MBP and imac, the tethering menu bar can again now be moved anywhere on my screen.
