Lightroom CC 2015.2: Release stops working when going to map mode on Windows 10

Every time I switch from library mode to map mode a error message pops up telling me that

"Adobe Photoshop Lightroom has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". Close program.

To continue I have to shut down LR and restart. Any help / advice appreciated. Thanks.
