Making the develop interfaces and options of both Lr and Camera Raw closer to each other would be productive for ease of transitional workflow. Here's a list of differences between them:

1. In Camera Raw, there is more useful lens information displayed under the Histogram (Lens focal 'range' and at which focal length the image was taken), but not in Lr.

2. Lr has the ability to reset individual Panel settings (in this case - the Tone Curve Panel) which you can't do in Camera Raw.

3. Lr (even at maximum size) has a very small Tone Curve Panel compared with Camera Raw's.

4. In Lr, one is able to right-click on a local adjustment (Grad/Radial Filter, Brush) which is beyond the image boundaries and Duplicate, Delete or Reset its settings. In Camera Raw, this doesn't happen.

5. Lightroom has the 'Crop Frame Tool' which is extremely useful for quickly re-cropping already cropped images. Camera Raw seems to be missing this tool.

6. Camera Raw has the ability to Drag-select an area to be used for custom white balance which is very useful for a noisy image for example

On the other hand, Lr has a magnified pixel loupe which Camera Raw doesn't have which is also useful.
