Photoshop: Healing brush is acting like clone stamp

LR crashing at startup. (OS X el capitan); Lightroom unworkably slow (win10).
And yes, graphic card stuff is turned off and no, I cannot go and fix anything in lightroom settings because it won't even start. But I'm sure everything is fine there.
PhotoShop, healing brush is acting like clone stamp. (both PS and LR are the latest CC 2015 versions, including the latest bug "fixes".) And btw nothing is solved brush wise.
Before cc 2015 never had any problem. I'm a LR user since version 1and it always worked like a breeze.

I don't have the answer for Photoshop, but the Lightroom issues are a known bug affecting a small percentage of users in this latest release, and the easiest fix right now is just to roll back http://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-...

Hi Eric, can you be more specific about the Healing brush. Are you saying it's asking for a source point? Or the results aren't being healed?

Hi Jeffrey,
It's like the background is not blending in at all. I have to say i have not used ps for a while. I was stricktly on lightroom. But over the last few weeks i have been processing quite some portraits. In PS. Where i used to be able to touch up faces easily, stray hairs, dark patches under the eyes, spots, they now leave visible traces. I've read about similar problems, but unfortunately without workable solutions. The problem does not occur when i use the spot healing brush. But that's not alwYs an option.
O'm not near my pc right now, so I can't send a sample. Sorry.
Hope this is somewhat clarifying.
Cheers,
Eric
