Mac 10.8.5 Lightroom 6 Trial
Not possible to enter negative values via number keys in value fields in the develop module, jumps back to zero.

Positive values no problem. Entering negative values via mouse movement or decrease key no problem.

Entering negative Exposure values via the keyboard, either the negative sign and digits across the top or the ones over on the numeric keypad work fine on Windows 8.1 in that I can enter them and tab out of the field and the negative value is used for the Exposure and the image becomes darker.

I can also enter letters in the Exposure field, although the value is red indicating an error and if I tab out with letters I get a popup saying the value should be between -5 and +5 and the value is reset to what it was, before, which in this case is zero.

Thanks for your answer. Pretty shure there are no problems in OS X 10.0.3 or Windows 7 either.

I ́m still on Lightroom 3 in OS X 10.8.5. No problems with that matter in Lightroom 3, 4 or 5 on my system, just with Lightroom 6.

I planned to upgrade to LR6, but for superfast work I need full keyboard access. This could be a bug just in OS X 10.8.5.

Even copy/past in the entry fields for example with "-5" does not work.

Strange exception: Any negative value entered as value into "Tint" changes "Temp" to 5001 and "Tint" to +10, in every image.

I just figure out: After a "Undo" the negative value is accepted. There must be a "Set to Zero" - action which is undoable, which resets the enter negative value action.

Entering "-5" results in 2 entrys in the history palette, set value -5 and set +5. Result always = Zero.

Still not yet solved in Lightroom 6.01

It seems that there are so many bugs in Lightroom 6, that Adobe is running out of capacity.
