Which version of Lr 6? The latest update is Lr 6.3. Which OS? Are you on perpetual license or CC license?

What happened when you tried to import? Do you have video files in the imported batch?

I am using LR 6.3 for Mac with Perpetual license. Canon 7D all updates applied.

When attempting to import will get very limited success. Anywhere from 1 to 12
photos at which time LR import bar (upper right top) will reflect approprate percent of import. LR software acts like it wants to import additional photos but clearly freezes. (It is NOT the camera as I can download on LR 3.? on a differnt computer with no probem)

Back to LR and the import bar... the import bar will reflect approximately 10% complete when 10 are imported out of 100. LR acts like it is still importing although nothing is happening within the import tab within the software.

Once the few are imported LR appears to freeze as very little additional can be done within the software. Once I select the "x" button to stop the import, I am unable to attempt import until I fully shut down LR.

Once LR is restarted and additional attempt is made to import, the same scenario occurs. I have attempted different import cords, restarting the computer etc with the same outcome. I am able to import all photos without issues on a different computer using Microsoft windows 10.

Thanks in advance!

Oops sorry, 1 or 2 video files in the import batch. All attempted imports are shutting down or stopping on jpegs and not RAW or Video files.
