Greetings,

I am trying to duplicate your issue:

Are you Mac or Windows? Version?
Which printer are you using? Driver Version?

When you say the preview is blank are your referring to the Preview panel in the upper left or the main work area in the middle?

Canon_ipf760  driver version 4.42. The preview I am referring to is part of the canon software.  The center lr preview displays but as mentioned when saving to pdf a blank o data file is created.  This is on a mac 10.11.5  macbook pro retina late 2013
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB
Thanks

Thanks for the OS info.  I wanted to test on a similar platform. I tried your PDF test and was able to generate a PDF with an image at about 33.5 MB with a dimension of 36x48.  I don't have your Canon Printer to test directly the Canon dialog.

When I tried this time I ended up with a pdf of 2.85g.  Not sure why the files are so big.

Yes it seems as long as the initial file is under 2 m.  I can print at 600 dpi.  If the initial file is larger than that than the file size becomes to large for something in the chain.

Thank you for the help.
