I am losing layer effects (specifically bevel and drop shadow) when I flatten an image. I'm using PS CC. How can I retain those effects when I save the final image as jpg?

Hi Shaelyn,

When you flatten an image, the layer effects should flatten with it. I just tried it myself with both Bevel and Drop Shadow and had no problem. The effects are in my single-layer result.

Could you describe more thoroughly the problem you are having?

Thanks,
David

Ok - now I'm super embarrassed because I struggled with this for two hours yesterday and today it worked fine. I just upgraded my RAM this morning - so maybe it was a display issue. I don't know, but I'm happily sending my file to print now - thanks for the response
