Could you post a screen capture showing the issue?
Are they blurry on export as well?

So I just went to upload a few photos to you from Lightroom to Photoshop and I got an error that says 'photoshop failed to upload....unknown error --- proxy unavailable.  Maybe is the cause of some of my photos becoming blurry?

So I did some further investigating and there are quite a few photos from a certain time period that are all blurry from January to June of this year and the remainder from July to present are okay.  The ones from January to June I cannot upload into photoshop but the ones from July to present I can.  Strange!  Do you have any recommendations as to why this could have happened?  I can't upload the blurry to show you as they are stuck in Lightroom!

Look at the photos in a different program, if they are blurry there then you know it was a problem during the shoot.

No problem with the shoot, the original wedding photos were saved on my back up and those photos are perfect.  Its the same original photos that were uploaded to lightroom that have now gone for a crap for some reason.  I can't figure it out.  So what you are saying is that is may be an issue with my laptop?

Troubleshooting is a matter of eliminating variables until only the problem is left.

If you export a blurry image full size and then open it in another program, is it blurry there?

My guess is that you are seeing incomplete previews rather than a good rendering of your RAW file.

When I first took these photos I uploaded them into Lightroom, edited them and exported them to photoshop for additional touchups and to save them to my hardrive in a folder.  Now that I have been uploading new photos into Lightroom I came across these originals photos and noticed that they appear blurry now.  So I tried to export them again and that's when I get this error.  I have also contacted my IT guy to see if it has anything to do with my laptop.  All of my recent uploads to Lightroom seem okay and I can export those easily without any problem.  It's the older photos that look corrupt.

And a proxy is a component of some networks. It has nothing to do with photos.
