Photoshop: Liquify reconstruct tool behavior in CS6 different from CS5

I'm new to the liquify tool. I'm trying to follow along in a tutorial done in CS5 which shows the reconstruct tool realigning a section moved previously by the forward warp tool. When I try to use the reconstruct tool in CS6, it appears that a spot is erased that's the same size as the selected brush. Nothing moves. Everything I can find in help is for CS5.

Jean, I am having a problem with the Reconstruct tool within Liquify as well. In CS5, I could use the Warp tool to my heart's content always knowing the Reconstruct tool was there to bring it back a little if I went too far, or to remove my liquifying effect on an area where I don't want it.

In CS6, this tool seems to do absolutely nothing! It's very worrisome!
