LIGHTRROM CLASSIC JUNE 2018 UPDATE - EXPORT ISSUES

Since the recent June 2018 update of Lightroom Classic my pc slows down and crashes when exporting 296 images from collections cr2 format into 10mb Jpegs on my hardrive. Prior to the upgrade my pc would do this in a matter of 1-2 minutes, it now gives me a blue screen of death. The PC only crashes when exporting LR images, all other software and pc applications run without issue. We are getting more and more issues and bugs with every new release of Photoshop and Lightroom, Adobe please invest some of the ime and money we are paying!

A blue screen would be a hardware or low level system issue, rather than a Lightroom bug. Exporting is very CPU intensive - much more so than practically any other software you'll use - so your system could be overheating - how's the weather near you?

What is the error message that you see on the Blue Screen? The error code will appear on the bottom and will be all caps separated by underscores.

Problem solved - My PC was overheating as a result of the increased workloads that Adobe Classic is now imposing. PC CPU cooler cleaned 

However, importing images seems to take far longer than previous versions of lighroom

Mark, how much longer is 'far longer'?  Some image numbers and elapsed times would be helpful in diagnosing the issue.
