Lightroom Classic CC syncing and printing questions

For some reason my LightroomCC randomly syncs photos from my hard drive on my mac. I found out how to pause sync, but the info to stop sync on the adobe help pages didn't correspond to my Lightroom..."in the bottom left turn the sync switch to off..." (sic). I could find no such switch, not event in the menu from the top of the program. I don't even know why it started to sync almost 600 files in the first place! As well., I can't print with Lightroom. It lays down what appears to be double the amount of ink on the paper. I have to resort to Photoshop, which I am very happy with. But what's wrong with LR for printing? I'm very happy with my creative cloud subscription, including Behance and Portfolio, but I've never had success with light room. Big headache.

Hi Wayne,

Regarding the print issue, please specify the version of Lightroom you're using, along with the OS.

Thanks,
Pavan,
Adobe Lightroom team.

Hi Pavan, thank you for the reply. My version:

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic CC 7.2 Release Camera Raw 10.2
Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G65)

I should note that an update notice was waiting when I opened the program today. It's been awhile, as I gave up on it a long time ago. I'm not sure if the update is related to a print issue but after updating, the the current version is:

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic CC 7.5 Release Camera Raw 10.5

I have not printed with it yet.

I'm using Hahnemühle Fine Art Ultra Smooth paper (Media Type Special 9 and Print Profile as per the manufacturer). The settings I've selected are as closely matched to Photoshop's settings as I can see, though the UIs are slightly different. Screen shots as attached of my most critical settings, maybe there's something there that will catch your eye.

I'm not 100% certain that 600 dpi should be checked in the LR panel (3rd screenshot down). As well, I'm not sure about Color Settings (Photoshop has Edit > Color Settings and numerous boxes to check / change based on recommended settings for photography printing). I can't be certain if this has to be set up in LR but I don't think so based on the only info I can find: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/help/print-job-options-settings.html#main-pars_heading_6

I suspect that LR is photography-specific whereas Photoshop is much broader, thus allows Color Settings based on various usages...I'm not really sure. My understanding is that LR will tag the image with the Camera's RGB profile or AdobeRGB, depending on two types of output usage (print or publisher).

Thanks in advance for your assistance and please excuse me if I haven't expressed the terminology  correctly, I am self-learned.

Lightroom CC doesn't have a print functionality, so Help menu > System Info would provide the extra info we need.
