Lightroom CC 2015: File browser functionality like Bridge

As a long time user of Bridge I know that whatever is shown in a folder is an accurate representation of what's on the disc. Lightroom does not, which means I cannot trust it for fast work running actions in PhotoshopCC to create a new file and move to different folder. Lightroom allows watched folder but does not include subfolders; if it did and simply imported into the Lr database leaving the file where it is, I would be able to set a top level folder as watched and know that it too shows an accurate view of what is in the subfolders. Running a separate sync operation after every change is just too cumbersome and time consuming in my workflow and thus I always use Bridge in preference. Surely this option is not beyond the lightroom team to include in the next patch? Just do a comparison of how many steps/clicks/keystrokes is needed in each program.

That's not how Lr works. If you want to see what's in a directory, you have to import it.

I know - that's why I'm asking for it to be optionally automated.
