Lightroom UI Ideas

Hello, I hope I have come to the right place after searching around for a feedback link on adobe.com for a feature I would really like to find added to Lightroom. I have been using Lightroom along side aperture for a couple years now because Aperture has a couple features that I find really helpful with my workflow. First is just that aperture makes it simple to sync with my iPhone, iPad, and I really like their photo stream feature (now that there is lightroom mobile I have to play around with this to see how that can work best for me, but this also requires my iPad to always have wifi). Second is the facial recognition in the program because it makes suggestions to tag photos that I may have forgotten to add keywords to in lightroom for who is in the photo so I can keep the subjects organized. Also the feature auto tags faces for me when I post them online to Facebook. I would also like to see the import UI in lightroom get an update, my biggest problem is the destination tab, I find the pathway interface to be troublesome, especially when you start to get into multiple folders.

The good news is lightroom mobile doesn't need you to always have wifi - you can mark them for offline use - so that solution will hopefully work well for you.

Face recognition's certainly a popular request. You'll find other long threads here on that subject.

Can you describe the import problems you're having in a bit more detail please?

Hi, thats awesome to hear about LR mobile, I've only used it in a wifi area so I haven't noticed that about it yet.

The Problem I have with importing is in selecting its destination. I find that the
Folder
folder
another folder
last folder here but it doesn't fit on the list anymore cause its so long so you get a .......

to be a hassle for me to work with, I greatly like how aperture works here, because of the way it stored my images in a single folder already for me this was the only option for images destination selection and the way it worked in projects selecting my import destination was simpler and a lot less hair pulling. Simply being able to pull that menu width over more could simply help with this issue.
