Lightroom: Slideshow does Not Respect Secondary Monitor Profile on Windows XP

Most of the time Lightroom selects the correct monitor profile for displaying images on a secondary monitor.

However, in the slideshow module, the monitor profile selection is broken. Very easy to see when your secondary monitor is a wide gamut display and your primary monitor is not.

It also appears that Lightroom requires a restart before profile selection correctly works for other modules again.

Might be card/driver specific. Multi-screen support on XP, in my experience, is more touchy than Win 7 of Vista.

What card(s) and driver are you using?

The graphics adapter (DELL E6400 laptop) is a Mobile Intel(R) GMA 4500MHD, 1024 MB.

The driver has the version number 6.14.10.5284. Driver date is 20 June 2010. I had updated the driver not too long ago.

I agree that multi-screen support on XP can be a bit touchy, but note that LR handles both monitor profiles well in the Library and the Develop module. I was surprised to see the problem pop up in the Slideshow module.

P.S.: I'm expecting to be able to test the issue on Windows 7 soon.

P.P.S.: I'm happy to check out 3.6RC if that would help.

Sure. I'd be interested in checking it on other platforms and with 3.6. I'll see if the team can repro too. I don't have access to that OS platform from my current location.
