Presently, one can specify custom metadata to be 'string', or 'enum', or 'url'. We need support for numeric, boolean, & date-time as well. Having numeric & date-time metadata being treated as strings is a real big bummer for some plugins. - thanks...

Hi,

Can I add 'image' to this list? It would be handy to be able to have small thumbnail images added to the metadata bar. I don't mean photo thumbnails, they're already present of course, I'm thinking about other things.

Cheers,
Jim

Hi Jim,

You can add anything you want as far as I'm concerned. The ones I started with were the minimum set required to make custom metadata support the same types as regular metadata. But being able to have a small image too sounds like a great idea!

PS - Did you remember to click the '+1' at the top?

I was just thinking about a 'binary' data-type. Dunno whether "image" could be handled as "binary"(?)
