This always happens on my machine (win 7/64):

Note last character, the 'y' in the word 'Gray', is clipped

Do you think this is specific to controls created in plugins (I see a couple of such cases in the Export dialog, for example)?

Is the control's width set to Auto or something (I am not familiar with the SDK)?

Definitely not just plugins - it's probably tied to the lua widgets that are also used in Lightroom proper, e.g.

- from the File Naming section.

Does anybody know if there is the same problem on Mac???

To the person behind the curtain: this could be changed to a Lightroom problem (instead of Lightroom SDK) - really not unique to SDK/plugins.

But in your original example... is the width of the widget's explicitly set/unset/set to 'auto'?

It's not explicitly set to anything, which means - "base width on widest item".

Honestly, it's a small problem, but is a bother in situations where you'd rather not declare a fixed width, nor have clippage.

Was it fixed for you?
