Please support rollover/tooltip display in history list, like you do for snapshots.

Thx,

What do you want the tooltips to say Rob? I'm not sure I understand how that would help?

Hi Rob,

I'm not sure I understand either. Are you talking about displaying history states in the Navigator as you roll over them? We do that. Is it not working for you? Or do you mean something else?

To clarify - In the snapshot list, when one rolls over the snapshot name, if the name is too long for display, the whole thing is displayed as a "tooltip". I have cases where edit history names are likewise too long to see all in the display - I was hoping the name could be expanded as a "tooltip" in the case that it is too long to otherwise be seen, like is being done for snapshots (and many other tidbits of text in Lightroom). Clearer? - Thx, -R.

I've pretty much solved this for myself using auto-wrap: if item too long to be displayed without truncation, its wrapped to the next line of the edit history. But then, if the width of the edit-history panel is reduced, its back to truncation...

SnapAndMark is one use case.
