Lightroom print module does not print multiple lines of text when printing contact sheets (and maybe in other layouts as well). See the discussion at This problem still exists in Lightroom 5. There is a work-around in the link above, but it is annoying, it took some hunting to discover it, and I wasted lots of time and paper with incorrect printouts before discovering the work-around.

I have LR5.2 and the multi-line issue is still present. I can get more than one line to display & print if I have Photo Info ticked and I select my custom info to display. If I then update my User Template with the current settings, the contact images resort to a single line (and will print that way too). The workaround I use is to select another Photo Info (anyone) then select the desired one again and all lines are displayed / printed. I've only tried to print one page so far, so I don't know if subsequent pages will print true. It's ridiculous that LR versions continues to inherit previous bugs and anomalies. There are plenty of users reporting back, but these niggly bugs don't seem to be addressed in such a professional application.

I teach courses using Lightroom's print module to generate thumbnail sheets with metadata displayed. This problem has been present in every version of Lightroom.

The students create and save custom templates with the required metadata listed below the thumbnails. Upon selecting a saved template only the first line of text shows.

My work-around (that my students must perform on every assignment) is to check then uncheck "Stroke Border". This will restore the additional lines of text. On a multi-page set of thumbnails this must be done on every page.

Note: every one of my students (hundreds of them at this point) have this problem!
