Lightroom: Option to suppress orientation change after NEF file re-saved.

This request has also been issued as a problem report, but I believe Adobe viewed it as a Nikon issue, and therefore not something to fix. For those of us who are constantly aggravated by this phenomenon, we'd like it fixed regardless of who is to blame, preferably sooner rather than later.

Please, please, please - we beg you: do not keep flipping the orientation every time a NEF file is re-saved in NX2 (or ViewNX). If not a cross-the-board change, at least make it an option. All software developers have to write workarounds for other dependent software's bugs, if that is what this is.

And yes, I have pleaded with Nikon too...

PS - I added a programmatic fix to re-orient image (by emitting a Ctrl/Cmd-]), but it only takes until first edit (of any kind) in Lightroom, at which point Lightroom "re-corrects" (wrongly - from a user perspective, which is the perspective that matters...).

PPS - I have not yet been successful setting orientation using the develop settings / plugin preset in the SDK, (all other develop settings work except crop and orientation).
