Lightroom Mobile Cropping Sync Issue

In general, synch is working fine. On a few photos, I am seeing this synch error: the photos on the desktop are all .jpgs, and are scans of physical photos. In each case, the photo was cropped on the desktop, but does not appear cropped on the iPad. Entering the cropping dialogue on the iPad shows the cropping overlay already set to the dimensions that were set on the desktop. Pressing the crop button again (returning to edit view) shows the photo properly cropped. Returning to the grid view on the iPad shows the photo uncropped. Going back to the edit view shows the photo uncropped. Meanwhile, back on the desktop, the photo appears cropped in both the grid and loupe views. Re-entering Develop and slightly changing the crop, creates the notice that the photo is being synched. Shortly thereafter, it appears properly cropped on the iPad.

Alternatively, selecting a slightly different crop on the iPad shows up properly in both views and on the desktop.

The third example starts on the desktop and shows a cropped photo in Develop module, with the history showing only Import and From Lr mobile. Photo is cropped in grid and loupe. On iPad, photo does not appear cropped in either view. Selecting crop tool shows matching crop. Changing it slightly shows cropped views in grid and edit. After synching, history shows a second From Lr mobile.

Collections are in offline editing mode. About 5 photos of 650 had this issue. Only raising it here in case it is an indication of some other problem.
