Lightroom: "Last" Button in Addition to "Previous" Button

I'm proposing a quick way to copy the last edit settings to an image in the Develop module. For instance, pressing "Alt" could convert the "Previous" button into a "Last" button which would refer to the settings of the image last edited rather than the image settings last visited.

I often step through undeveloped images one by one in the Develop module, doing edits to some, but skipping others. Often the images need similar edits, so the "Previous" button comes in handy. However, since it is common for me to skip images, the "Previous" button often refers to the undeveloped settings of the image last visited. I then have to open the filmstrip, navigate back to the last image edited select it -- in order to "load" the settings into the "Previous" button -- and then click on the image I originally wanted to develop (thus avoiding overriding of the edit settings).

What I need is a "Last" button that will always copy the settings of the image I last edited. Ideally, this button would allow to optionally bring up a dialog, allowing to (permanently) deselect settings that don't copy over well, such as adjustment brushes. The latter ideas has been proposed for the Previous button already and would be very, very useful in both cases.

P.S.: I know about the "Auto-Sync" functionality and the "Sync" button in the library and use them sometimes, but for the workflow I described above, they are not nearly as handy as using the "Previous" button. A "Last" button would be even more handy.
