Lightroom image captioning not working properly with national keyboard layout (Windows).

This issue occurs on all versions of Lightroom, from v. 1. Maybe it has not been reported as yet.
When using most common Polish keyboard layout (Polish programmers) in Windows, the Polish "ą" character is entered by typing "a" while holding down right - alt key. This key combination, however, clears all text in the current form field in the library module. The only wat to have "ą" in text fields is pasting the single letter, which slows down the captioning process significantly.

Hmm, this happens with input fields in plugins as well, indicating that it's pervasive throughout the underlying user-interface code of Lightroom.

As a less-convenient workaround, have you tried hexadecimal input from the keypad, as described here:

This method works, of course. It is a workaround anyway. I guess the problem occurs beacuse the national keyboard driver maps left-alt key to the ctrl-alt combinaton. Thus, ctrl-a selects all text in the input field, and ctrl-alt-a enters a single "ą" simultaneously. I am not sure if it works like that, it is a guess only. Anyway this is a bug.
