Lightroom: How to start a new graduated filter / adj. brush with the same settings as the active pin?

After adjusting the effect settings of the selected graduated filter, I want to create a second graduated filter with the same effect settings.

Is there any way to do that without the cumbersome creation of a temporary preset? Because if you hit "New" or "Edit", or simply start to drag a new graduated filter, the effect settings revert back to the values before changing the effect settings of first filter.

The same applies to the adjustment brush, but there it is not a problem because one can extend the active brush pin with the same settings simply by drawing new brush strokes. However, if one wants to create a new brush with slightly different settings based on the previous ones, the problem arises again.

By the way: There is a minor bug: When creating a new graduated filter by just dragging a new one while in "Edit" mode, the new one is drawn using the settings set before creating the previous filter (which is my problem, see above), but the values displayed in the settings are still the changed values of the previous filter - until the mouse is released, then they change to the correct values.
