Lightroom: Save in subfolder of Parent folder?

I know we can export images into a subfolder of the folder which contains our starting image but it would be really useful if we could have the subfolder created in the parent folder of the folder in which the start image resides.
Let me explain...

Let's say I have a main shoot folder called "New Years Eve 2011", inside this I have a folder called Captures in which I store all my raw files. I usually have another folder inside the parent folder titled Exports. This works great for me as it keeps the exported files separated for viewing from the raw files which I may not want clients etc to see. The feature I'm asking for would allow Lightroom to create the Exports folder in the parent folder (New Years Eve 2011) rather than inside the Captures folder which is how the sub-folder currently works.

I know that we can choose and manually create folders at export time but it would be really great if we could have this automated as a choice in the Export window so that it could be saved as part of the Export preset and therefore used no matter what the parent folder was.

Hope this makes sense. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts or any reasons on why this couldn't be done.
LR4 is looking great and I'm looking forward to the final release but this little feature would be a real bonus to many photographers who work with the same method as I do.

Cheers

This is a request I hear regularly, particularly from wedding photographers, many of whom use a similar structure. Gets my vote.

Hi Victoria
Thanks for your thoughts and vote on this.

I offer a similar service to yourself (processing files for others) as part of my business and this is obviously where we both see the benefits of this kind of feature in helping for a solid workflow and storage structure.

Thanks again.

This is a much needed feature and I have great need of keeping my images organized in this manner and because of the lack of export to a parent subfolder my export presets still require my input everytime in order to keep my folder structure the same across multiple jobs/sessions. If I could have my preset "Proofs" always save to that parent subfolder "Proofs" with the specific size needed then I can just select all, then export instead of having to create the folder or picking a folder that had to be created in explorer or having it export to subfolder then moving everything.
