Lightroom: Collection Syncing

Currently there is no way to synchronize/duplicate the collections assigned to one particular image or virtual/copy to another. Whether the user is consolidating / cleaning-out unused virtual copies; or finds they've accidentally organized the wrong 'copy' into a dozen or so collections; or simply wishes to add an image (or group of images) to all or part of an existing image's organization structure, the only existing method for transferring an image's collections is completely manual and excessively tedious.

Simply add the option to the 'sync metadata' dialog along with keywords, IPTC data, etc - the user can check/uncheck which of the assigned collections will be synced to the target images. (Obviously, collections are not metadata, so perhaps this would be confusing - in which case it could easily have its own dedicated dialog, available in the top of the 'library' menu with the other collection-themed items).
