Lightroom: Add preference to control folder selection behavior after removing a folder

To remove a folder from a Lightroom catalog you perform the following steps in the Library module:

1. Select the folder from the folder list
2. Right click and select "Remove"

The selected folder is then removed.

Once the selected folder is removed, Lightroom automatically selects the parent of the removed folder. This default behavior makes sense in some cases, but is frustrating in others.

I store my photos in folders named according to the capture date, so my folder hierarchy is very wide (hundreds of dates) and quite shallow (typically no more than 2 folders deep). So when I remove a dated folder, Lightroom selects the parent folder, which, in my case is the entire catalog. To return to the general range of dates where I had been working prior to removing the folder, I must then scroll the entire folder list. As you can imagine this can be quite frustrating when you have hundreds of folders and want to get back to a folder somewhere in the middle of the list.

I believe this inconvenient default behavior can be easily addressed by allowing the user to control which folder is selected after a folder is removed.

Implement a setting in the LR preferences to control the behavior when removing folders as follows:

After removing a folder:
(o) Select the parent of the removed folder
( ) Select the next folder in the folder list

The default should be to select the parent so that there's no change for existing users. The alternative would address my use case perfectly.
