After exporting a wedding of 1300 pictures in low resolution (750px wide) with a PNG logo, 5 or 6 random pictures are blank. They are are completely white, except for the logo. Interestingly, the preview of the picture (both on MAC and PC) shows correctly. This seems worth reporting.

Are you in the develop module when you export, if so - try the library module. If it makes a difference, I'll tell you how I came up with the idea ;-}.

I can't answer for certain, but I just opened that specific catalog and it looks like I was in Develop last, so that must be the case. What difference does that make?

Probably won't make any difference (shouldn't), but if I were you, I'd try it.
I've seen full-size but all-white images (like you describe I think) lots of times when developing plugins, using the new method in the SDK for fetching a rendered version of an image - problem only occurs when user is in develop module.
My theory: perhaps those two phenomena are related.

The export from the library module created no such white images, which supports your theory Rob. When I originally exported however, I exported 4 sets all at once. 1 set in high res, 1 set in low res with logo, and 2 of the same set in black and white. All pictures were being renamed on export and going into different folders. I don't know if any of this makes a difference, but when I reexported from the library module, it was only the 1 set (low res colour with logo).
Thanks for your input. From now on, I'll make sure I export big jobs from the library module. It's really weird that one would have to do that. I don't know if anyone from Adobe is monitoring this, but it should be looked after.

I reported the problem with the SDK, but so far - no comment from Adobe, and (presumably) no fix.
In theory, Adobe should be monitoring these bug reports, but dunno how rigorously in practice.
Please remember to report back here after a while, ok?
Cheers,
Rob
