Lightroom crop and export background/canvas colour

(This may be a repeat, the suggestion form I completed was then returned to me in another web page form. I don't know if my original suggestion made it in to Adobe or whether I have to post it again using this form)

Two simple additions I would love to see in Lightroom...

1. The crop settings should allow many more custom ratios and to be able to name each, preferably custom grouped similar to naming export settings.

I support many different applications, eg multiple web sites, and each have their own range of image sizes for header images, pages, thumbnails, galleries; similar situations for printed albums.

I have to maintain a written list for each, eg company A requires a thumbnail of 150x200 and gallery image of 800x600, create a new custom ratio for each one (crop only saves the last 5 and they have no name) before I can crop it prior to export (I can't just export it as they need cropping correctly first.) At least Export allows me to store the final pixel sizes, grouped by company; something similar for the CROP tool would be brilliant.

2. Export to a fixed size with the canvas background set to a selected colour

Photographic competitions regularly need to export with a fixed height and width. If the crop is smaller in one dimension the spare background needs to be black. Currently I need to export into Photoshop to resize and change the background canvas colour.

I can fudge the PRINT module to do this but it is an unnecessary kludge and hard to teach to less experienced members. Even I can't be bothered to use Print for this.
