Lightroom: Create an Adjustment Brush using "Quick Selection"

The adjustment brush in Lightroom is a great way to create any kind of mask for adjustments. But if one has to add adjustments close to the edges of an object, it requires a high amount of precision and work to achieve this goal. Here some examples:

- Make a precise mask for the sky up to the edges of mountains, houses or the skyline.
- Make a precise mask around the head of a portrait.
- Make a mask around an object on a product photo.

In such situations a brush like the "Quick Selection" tool from Photoshop would be very handy. The mask could be done with a few strokes.

This would save hours of time.

Or Adobe could fix the auto mask to not create halos on sharp edges...
