It's absolutely the best option for changing brush size - it's very accurate and lightning fast! Massive time saver for someone using local adjustments a lot.
Moreover it's similar in Ps, so when using both Lightroom and Photoshop You don't mix things.

In addition, the mouse wheel works nicely for this .

Yes it does, but:
a) mouse wheel is much slower than RMB +slide; try how many times You have to scroll to get quite large brush and back to small one;

b) mouse wheel doesn't work with brushes in PS - the goal is to have the same thing in both programs

c) which is probably the most important - I use Wacom pen - so no wheel...

I just realized, that I send this as a "question". It's all wrong! It supposed to be an "idea" or 'request a feature'.

It is NOT possible to change brush size in Lightroom using right mouse button +slide and I wanted to suggest that it would be really great if it was possible.

Can I switch it from 'question' to 'idea'?

If do you use a Wacom Tablet with pen, It is necessary
And the shortcut with the left and right bracket are not able with European keyboard...

@Yves - With pen it's absolutely a must but even with mouse it is so much better.
Right and left bracket are actually working but it does not make me happy - it's slow and I have to move my fingers on the keybord all the time.

@Jeffrey - Your link directs to this very thread...

An old post on LR french forum

Direct link to this post : http://www.utiliser-lightroom.com/for...

Retouch brush,
-set the size of the feathering Shift ' and Shift,
-adjust the diameter of the brush ' and, tool removal of defects,
-set the size of the feathering, and Shift '
-adjust the diameter of the brush ' and Shift,

so orders are crossed! At least for the swiss keyboard QWERTZ
- that this crossing does not exist with an American QWERTY keyboard? or a french AZERTY?

If the Word could be passed to ADOBE maybe could we hope to ease on this point. And in this case it is not Wacom since key combinations are not the same.

This is necessary for Wacom ExpressKey or Touch ring settings

Thanks

This was my intention, for ADOBE to see this idea and add such a function to Lightroom. It's working in Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop, why not in Lightroom?

And answering obvious question 'why not using ACR then?' - in ACR pen pressure doesn't work...
