Lightroom: Book usability tweaks

While I'm delighted to have Book and it satisfies my needs, I'd characterize it as "fiddly" or "clunky" and as forcing the user to be far too ingenious. To make Book punch its weight, rather than looking outside LR (eg roundtripping to InDesign) I feel the emphasis should be on staying inside, and re-using existing UI elements from elsewhere in LR.

For me the real successes are:
- Auto Layout
- Drag and drop swapping of pictures
- Detailed type control
- Background
- Double Page spreads

But staying within the existing scope of Book, I'd like these usability tweaks:
- lasso selection of text boxes / photos on multiple pages
- linked text boxes - for repeating titles on cover / spine / title pages
- text boxes linkable to external text files - longer pieces of text could be edited / spellchecked externally and re-used in multiple books
- copy and paste styles from one page to another
- page numbering
- index page generation
- support transparency in TIFs

I would add to the usability tweaks:

1 - Consistant page templates, i.e. for multiple picture pages, some options have a border between pictures on the pages, others do not. Take a look at the six per page montage vs the four. With the six, I can have a small white border between, with the four, I can't.

2 - Be able to add as many text boxes I want to anywhere I want on a page, page size permitting.

3 - Be able to add as many photo s as I want to anywhere I want on a page, page size permitting

4 - Be able to resize text boxes or photo boxes to my hearts content.

5 - Have full control of borders I want to use. LR tells me the ones I'm allowed. I should be able to add borders to all of the photos on any of the templates, space permitting.

6 - Have the book module gather picture and page captions for an index or table of contents (along with page numbers as well)

7 - With Blurb, I can get a book cover. Any option in LR?

8 - Build and save my own page templates.

I absolutely agree with these suggestions - except # 7: book covers are available in Lr.
Adobe: please make the text boxes more flexible - resizing and moving the textbox across the page are a MUST!
Also: automatic page numbering - please do it soon!

Also, there's got to be a better way to scroll down to find the right font.

And, relative to fonts, what can't the font names be presented in the script they represent? Right now I'll have to know what I'm looking for, when in fact I want to "see" what I'm looking for.

Please make it possible to export the book design out as spreads and not just individual pages.
