Lightroom 4.2 - book feature - Dust Jacket feature - says that it's supported but it doesn't work properly - I've verified this with Adobe support staff - Case Number:0183753902 - it has NOTHING to do with custom layouts.

Hi Carey,

When you put your cursor over the dust jacket flap, a yellow box displays. The yellow box indicates that only text can be added in that box - consequently, only text can be added to the flap area. I'm turning this post into a feature request.

Best regards,
Tina

Fix "Dust Jacket" feature in Book module in Lightroom 4.2 - need to be able to layout 5 sections: 1) back flap, 2) back cover, 3) spine, 4) front cover, 5) front flap. Or, alternatively one big image for the whole jacket - but I'd need the full bleed pixel dimension of each section. [I don't want "family" support, I want Adobe to address the issue, already spent way too much time with tech support and they admitted that it was a bug.]

Hi Carey,

This is not a bug - it's as designed - just a limitation of the initial implementation of the feature. I'm sorry if the agent mislead you. The product team will take a look at this request and evaluate it.

Thanks for your added feedback - it's helpful.

Best regards,
Tina
