Hi,

it sometimes really grinds my gears, when I quickly want to import pictures from my Mobilde i.e.: "m://DCIM/ but Lightroom" only allows me to select "m:\\" as import source so it starts rendering all preview pictures and this costs precious time. Specially annoying on mobile phones, where there are tons of different pictures and it's even hard to find the right ones to import.

What about allowing the user to chose a certain subfolder on a removable device to import pictures from ? This would reaally save a lot of time while importing from smartphones for example..

It works on my phone. I just ignore the "removable devices" area at the top and scroll down to the M: drive in the regular list of hard-disks and that will have all the subfolders accessible.

Ooops, how come I never noticed that ever since?! You opened my eyes. Thank youl.
I should really pay more attention :-) Probably I'm always in a rush while importing from my mobile, what also affects my sensitifity and curiosity :)

This can be closed - this feature already exists. Tanks to Steve I'm now aware of that.
