Lightroom 5 - Photoshop CC integration broken

After the last Photoshop C C update (20/1), the integration between Lightroom 5 and Photoshop is broken. The first few days, no adjustments made in LR5 would show up when editing a photo in PS from LR5. Now, when clicking Edit in PS, Photoshop opens, but the image is not loaded.

You've rebooted your computer?

Which OS?

I tried restarted both applications, rebooting the computer (iMac, latest OSX). All had no effect.

Additional information: when I open an image (Canon RAW) WITHOUT Lightroom edits, it does open in Photoshop.

And you're updated to LR 5.3, I assume?

I can't reproduce it here, but perhaps you're using settings that I'm not. Does it open if you just use Basic adjustments? Perhaps you can narrow it down to the specific thing that's tripping it up - a lens or camera profile perhaps?

Yes, using latest LR 5.3.

I have been testing some more and here's what I found:
- If I ONLY use cropping, the photo does not open in PS.
- If I DON'T use cropping, the photo opens in PS with LR adjustments.
- If I use cropping AND other adjustments, the photo opens with adjustments, but NOT cropped.

At least that narrows it down a bit... but it's still annoying.

Stranger and stranger! I'm running 5.3 on Mavericks, to the latest CC release, and even with a crop it's working correctly.

Can anyone else reproduce it?

I have seen this and a preference file reset fixed it if I recall

Would that be PS or LR pref file?

Lot's of chatter in the U2U forum this morning, with some suggestion that this has been acknowledged by Adobe: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/138931...

From what I've seen so far it's a Mavericks/LR5.3/PS with ACR8.3 issue, perhaps following a PS update a couple of weeks back.

Good to hear that I am not the only one with similar problems. I am under the impression that things went wrong since the latest PS CC update 1 week ago. Let's hope things get fixed soon.

In the meantime, I am willing to try the prefs file reset thingy. Just need to know which prefs file(s) to reset and how...

The problem seems to come from the Nik plugins. See also this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/60347...
