I recently upgraded to the Black Friday, Lightroom5/Photoshop CC "photographer's special" cloud subscription. So I should have the latest versions of all components.
The first day, the interface between Lightroom and Photoshop worked as expected. When I right-click on a RAW filmstrip photo and select Edit In ...|Edit in Photoshop CC, I went to: (i) a screen that allows select of editing options (edit copy w/ Lightroom changes, edit copy of original, edit original); (ii) that selection opened into ARC; then (iii) the ARC modified version opened in Photoshop.
Now when I select Edit in Photoshop CC, I go directly from Lightroom to Photoshop (i.e. no select edit options, or ARC). In Photoshop, the image is on a background layer and double-clicking on the thumbnail does not go back to ARC. However, if I Edit In...|Open as Smart Object in Photoshop, I still go directly to Photoshop but I can double-click on the thumbnail to go back to ARC.
I suspect, some option or preference is set improperly. Anybody got any ideas?
