Lightroom: LR5 Constrain Crop checkbox changes the aspect ratio of the image

Constrain Crop checkbox changes the aspect ratio of the image.

In Lens Corrections, under Profile, I start by checking Enable Profile Corrections, then under Manual, then, no matter the following sequence, I do:

- Manual Transform (Vertical, Horizontal, Rotate)
- Check Constrain Crop box
- Make final crop using Crop and Straighten tool, with Aspect As Shot and Locked

Inevitably, whether I crop first or check the Constrain Crop box first, the combination will change the aspect ratio to Custom, and the top and bottom edges become "sticky" to the top and bottom edges of the image, and only the left and right crop edges are adjustable. Any attempt to move top or bottom crop edges further in results in the crop edges being pulled back out to the image edge.

This occurs on one machine, but not the other, both running updated versions of Windows 7. It first appeared for me in LR 4.x, and it continues with LR 5.

In LR 4.4 the aspect ratio would become unlocked in the crop-tool just by dragging to change the crop orientation from horizontal to vertical or vice versa--no need to involve constrain-to-crop or manual lens-distortion corrections.

On my Windows 7 64-bit system running LR 5 64-bit, I cannot get the aspect-ratio to unlock as you've described. Is there something different between the two systems, where ones exhibits the issue and the other doesn't? For example is one a 32-bit OS and the other a 64-bit OS or the photo, itself, is different, or is one an AMD and the other an Intel? Presumably you're running LR 5 release on both and both are either trial or registered.

My MacPro 5,1 running LR v5.2 on 10.8.5 shows this behavior; my MacBookPro running the same does not. I never saw this behavior in any previous version of LR.
