I am soooo excited about this product. I've been drooling ever since it was teased on Scott Kelby's show. Can I put in a request for the product here?

Am dissapointed with LR mobile, I don't need to transfer collections to work on them on my iPad, am happy to work on them on my desktop.

I want to be able to import RAW's images from my camera in the field into LR mobile, be able to review and delete the non keepers, keyword or rate them and then sync them via a cable to my main LR library when I get home, not via the cloud.

I feel much the same way. My camera actually can talk to my iPad and show me my images via it's built in wifi and an app on the iPhone/iPad called EOS Remote.

When I saw this announcement I got really excited that it would help my workflow. It requires desktop download first though.

Why not allow even jpeg low res download on the iPad, rate, minor tweaks, flag, etc... then download the RAWs on the desktop. When they download LR see's they are already files from the iPad created catalog and associates them with those jpegs. That way your RAW's are rated, picked or rejected and even have some adjustments.

While not as full bodied as I would have liked, I thought new mobile app a good start and was enjoying it...for about a day. Now, desktop says it's got photos synced but mobile app says I have nothing. Have tried closing/re-opening; have tried deleting data and starting fresh; have tried signing out and back in; have even tried reinstalling mobile app. Nothing has fixed it. Totally frustrated now.

Hello June, can you tell me a bit more about your setup and answer a few questions?

1) Are you on Mac/Win?
2) In Lightroom Desktop in the Catalog panel, do you see a collection called All Sync Errors and if so how many photos are in it? (NOTE: This collection will only appear if there are errors, so if it does not exist that is OK)
3) You said you tried "deleting data", does that mean that you used the Delete Data button in Lightroom Desktop Preferences?

For now, let's just start with those and we'll go from there. I would like to help you get back up and running.

Adobe tech support got me going again...though still don't know why it happened, so not sure how to avoid happening again.

I don't understand why it only syncs collections and not collection sets? This seems like an obvious gap. Sets are made to organize groups of collections and I can't think of any circumstances in which I would want to sync only a low level collection and not include an entire set.
