Lightroom 5.2: Export to 'Specific folder' behaving like 'Choose folder later...'

Never had this problem before, but I'm having it now. Rebooting computer does not help. I can no longer export without a prompt for destination folder, other than by choosing 'Same folder as original photo' I mean. Same problem regardless of export service provider, if it supports 'Export Location' I mean.

Problem occurs with or without export filters inserted, and it always happens every time (i.e. it is *not* intermittent).

PS - If settings saved as export preset, contents of preset (.lrtemplate file) seems OK.

Oops - duh.

The "specific" folder being exported to was not yet created, thus the reason it kept prompting to choose folder. Note: prompt is *identical* to that of "Choose folder later..." option.

I suggest a better handling:
1. In export dialog box (e.g. when user enters folder), prompt if missing.
2. When actually exporting, just create if missing, or in any case a better (more informative) prompt - even a title of "Specified export folder is missing - choose another" would have provided the clue.

At a minimum, set the "Choose Folder" directory to the nearest parent folder which exists (had this been the case, I would've realized sooner (or immediately) what the problem was).

Anyway, "problem" solved.

To be clear: although this problem is technically "solved", I think it is very confusing to present the same exact dialog box for "export to specific folder" as "choose folder when exporting". If I've specified the folder, export it there (no questions asked), if I want to be prompted, I'll choose the option which prompts.

If you want to continue prompting even in "specific folder" case, at least make it clear why such prompt is being offered (and distinguish it from "choose folder later" option).

Know what I mean?
