The main thing is to try it on your images where previously the Auto Exposure would do strange things (e.g., way too bright, way too dark). Previously the Auto Exposure was (overly) sensitive to small image features -- e.g., if you had small highlights near the center of the frame. Lr 5.2 should be much better about that.
Good news, thank you for it. It is definitely better now, although still not perfect :) I don't mean to complain at all costs, I understand it's not easy, but just to mention: It seems as a 'side effect', it doesn't work very well with brighter images when there are more highlights or just overexposed images, In these cases clipped parts of a histogram seem to be ignored. But anyway it's a welcome improvement
