Lightroom 5.0: Auto-toning takes 2 tries.

It takes two tries sometimes to get a photo properly auto-toned. For example:

After try #1:

Note: history indicates photo has been auto-toned, and it has been *partially* auto-toned, but auto-toning is still enabled - I guess Lightroom knows auto-toned values are not what the final values should be.

After try #2:

Note: it has been auto-toned the rest of the way, and auto-toning became disabled afterward, as it should, since auto-toning has reached final values.

This symptom occurs when auto-toning has been applied by Lightroom upon import, OR when first try was done by a plugin after adding photo to catalog. In other words, applying an auto-toning preset to a newly imported photo is not working right - it gets part way there, then stops - another click is required to get it the rest of the way there.
