Lightroom 4b: Basic tone controls have issues.

Definitely some good stuff going on in there, but not ready for prime time, in my opinion.

Some photos are impossible to adjust properly with those controls.
And too many photos take too long...

It seems like the design is "not optimal" to me, and that's sugar-coating it.

One should be able to get successively closer to the goal with each adjustment. Having to go way off course, in order to steer a little in one direction does not seem like a good design to me.

OK, maybe I'm wrong, and it's a great design... - at a minimum, it needs some serious, serious tweaking.

Rob, it would be helpful if you could be more specific with the issues you are having, along with sample of images of your starting point and subsequent adjustments.

Good idea, but bad timing for me.

I'm done with Lr4b, PV2012, and trying to convince people of things who really seem to not want to be convinced...

Y'all will either figure it out, or ya won't.

Please forgive me,
Rob
