Adobe Lighroom 4, when importing from a CF card via USB from the camera, reports "there was an error working with the photo" when trying to work with all imported pohtos, wether imported as DNG or straight NEF files. Lightroom 2 works perfectly with exact same imported material and method.

Hi Patrick,

Does the problem happen if you copy the file from the card via the operating system, then import into Lightroom? Also, which OS version do you have?

Same issue: "There was an error working with the photo."

It appears to be all over the internet but with zero relevant responses, particularly silent is Adobe...!

Running LR 4.1 on Mac OSX 10.7.4.

Importing images from CF cards via Lightroom. Once an image is corrupt, no amount of re-booting will help (in response to some suggestions on other forums).

I have vast quantities of images to handle, this is a serious issue to me. Ideas?
