Lightroom 4 panel display width problem

I have some problems of display of the side panels
I can't see the extreme right side of the lines and/or options.
On a 32" display it is possible to compensate but on 17" laptop... no way!
I know that it is possible to re dimension each 3 columns of the display, but I reach the limit.
I use Win 7 Pro and LR 4.1 RC2
I have read that it could be done on Mac...
Does somebody has an idea ?
Thank you

Thank you,
It seems to be a good track to improve the display and/or reduce the problem, by the way my problem appears mainly with TTG modules.

I tried to use the online tool on Jeffrey Friedl and got a generated file but I choose only the part about fonts and size.

Then I made a backup copy of the original file in lighroom :
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 RC2\Resources\fr\TranslatedStrings.txt"

and with a text editor I modify my French version of the file, the data starts in my file at line 10752, lines beginning is "$$$/locale_metric/Win/Panel/" and choose to reduce each font size by 1 point.

The result lower slightly the visibility of the panel but allow to display full lines of modules

May be another solution could be an auto/manual adjust of the panel (like on mac) or a revised width of TTG modules...
